NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…..
Welcome all new followers…and CLAIRE!!!1!?!
To celebrate, I wanted to post the funniest picture of Franz Kafka I could find. Turns out there are no funny pictures of Franz Kafka. But there are a whole lot that look like this:

NYE with the Avetts!!!!
Uhm…so who runs-this-blog-and will-be-seeing-the-Avetts-w/-Langhorne-Slim-on-NYE-in-Asheville? This girl.
REBLOG IF YOU’LL BE THERE! :) :)
(And hey, maybe if there’s enough we can do a nifty meet-up in Asheville too? Interested?)
No surprise here, but I’ll be there.
Beckett, about the staging of Waiting for Godot.
I’ve always loved the fact that Beckett was a huge fan of games: rugby, tennis and chess especially. Living in Paris, he couldn’t wait for his weekly rugby matches, in which he apparently played pretty well, despite lacking wind and health.
Art itself has always struck me as survival shaped into a game of forms.
So in the spirit of Beckett, I say: Go Blue!
(Though I wish they would fail better not worse at the moment.)
Just occured to me...
The furry community must really be into these Twilight books, what with sexy Native a-wer-icans and all. Am I right?
(No, this isn’t a neferarious trap to find out which of my follwers are furries. Ok, maybe.)
if we apply the economic concept of supply & demand to artistry, then tom waits is so demanded because there is but one of him - such a unique artistic persona.
And the world falls apart. I don’t care if you guys get popular, but please don’t become Fallout Boy with a banjo. And I understand changing up your sound, I really do. Musicians grow and expand. But when you take out most of the banjo and rag-tag harmonies and clean up all those rough spots around the edges… well, you’re just another pop-rock band. Please guys, i speak for many a long time fan: if you can’t make it big as the Avetts we all know and love, then it’s not worth making it big.
PS Don’t read the comments. They’ll piss you off. But I do kind of have to admit, “I and Love and You” is kind of a downer to play on national TV. Why not “Talk on Indolence” or something? It’s all new to most of the country anyways…
What Twilight has taught me:
My mom’s side of the family left the rez in Oklahoma because the werewolf attacks aren’t as frequent in the east. Also, I’m part werewolf. Or, as we prefer, Lupin American.

what is this? anyone know?
I can’t remember the title of the painting (used to know), but I’m pretty sure it depicts Salome beheading St. John the Baptist. Hope that helps. Similar biblical story, wrong testiment. It’s Judith Beheading Holofernes
